Plan Smarter Trips
Compare waters, conditions, crew, boat, and historical results before leaving home.

Bowfishing intelligence
BowfishIQ uses your real trip history, environmental conditions, crew, boat, and catch data to help you plan better bowfishing trips.
No fish guarantees — just your own data, organized and scored.
Core features
Built around one loop: log what happened, then use it to decide where to go next.
Compare waters, conditions, crew, boat, and historical results before leaving home.
See how current conditions compare with your previous trips and understand the confidence behind the prediction.
Log fish counts, species, crew, boat, water level, water temperature, clarity, wind, trip duration, and results.
BowfishIQ identifies patterns from your own history instead of relying only on generic fishing advice.
How it works
Fish shot and fish seen, species, crew, boat, water, weather, and duration — in a couple of minutes on the ramp.
Your trips become condition history: which waters, levels, temps, winds, and moons actually produced for you.
Compare tonight's options against that history, with the confidence and coverage behind every number shown.

Inside BowfishIQ
Every feature below is live in the app today.
An explainable fit score for a water body tonight, built from your history there, similar waters, conditions, season, and data quality.
Scores a planned trip against your objective and flags missing critical inputs instead of scoring an incomplete plan.
Shared-history depth with the people you actually fish with, weighted by evidence — never a ranking of people.
A historical range for the trip you're planning, with High / Medium / Low confidence and the sample it came from.
A single explainable call on tonight — from Fish Now to Wait — using Lake IQ, Trip IQ, and live conditions as inputs.
Fast mobile logging with auto-filled water level, weather, and moon, plus offline drafts and crash recovery.
Season totals, best nights, waters fished, and personal versus boat stats from one authoritative registry.
Hundreds of badges with rarity tiers, XP, and player levels — all unlocked from real logged data.
Log a scouting run as a scouting trip so it builds water knowledge without distorting your performance numbers.
Per-state rough-fish notes and records with a visible confidence level and source, so you can verify before you shoot.
Condition-driven alerts when a water you follow lines up with the nights that have worked for you.
Build your own rules from water level, temperature, wind, moon, and more, with your own thresholds and units.
Native iOS and Android app store releases: Coming soon. BowfishIQ runs today as an installable web app.
Objective-based planning
You pick the objective for the trip, and the recommendation adapts. Different objectives use different scoring models — they do not share one universal score.
Weighted toward waters and conditions where your own volume nights happened.
Weighted toward the conditions and waters behind your biggest recorded fish, not raw counts.
Weighted toward your history with that species, plus the state's regulation status for it.
Confidence & data quality
BowfishIQ always keeps four things separate so a good-looking number never hides thin evidence.
How well tonight's setup fits what has worked for you before.
How much evidence sits behind that number — shown as High, Medium, or Low.
Which condition inputs were actually available for the comparison.
How complete the underlying trips are, since sparse logs limit what can be compared.
Missing environmental data lowers confidence and coverage. It is never treated as a neutral match, and BowfishIQ shows "Not Available" instead of filling in a guess.

Free vs Pro
Logging your trips is free forever. Pro adds the scoring, forecasting, and alerting layers built on top of that history.
Trip logging, logbook, season totals, basic stats, achievements.
Lake IQ, Trip IQ, Catch Predictor, Fish Now, advanced analytics, Smart and Custom Alerts, crew and boat intelligence.
Current Pro pricing is shown in the app before any purchase.
FAQ
BowfishIQ is a bowfishing logbook and trip planning tool. You log the trips you actually take — fish shot, fish seen, species, crew, boat, water level, water temperature, clarity, wind, and duration — and BowfishIQ turns that history into scores, comparisons, and planning views for future trips.
No. Nothing in BowfishIQ guarantees fish or a successful trip. It compares tonight's conditions against your own recorded history and shows the evidence and confidence behind that comparison so you can make your own call.
No. Private locations and scouting pins are private by default and are never published with your name attached. Community-level information is aggregated by water body only — never exact spots, private pins, or personal identity.
Yes. You can log trips from night one, and reference features like the map, species reference, state regulations, badges, and season totals work immediately. Scores that depend on your history stay clearly hedged with lower confidence until you have enough trips recorded.
Missing or incomplete environmental data lowers confidence and coverage instead of being scored as a neutral match. BowfishIQ shows "Not Available" rather than inventing a value, and tells you which inputs were unavailable.
Yes. Trips can carry a crew roster with roles, and fish can be attributed per shooter. Personal stats track your own totals while boat stats cover the whole trip, including species detail.
Yes — BowfishIQ is mobile-first and built to be used on the water. It also installs to your home screen as an installable web app, and trip logging keeps working offline with drafts syncing when you regain signal.
Not yet. BowfishIQ is currently available as a web app and installable web app (add it to your phone's home screen). Native app store releases have not launched.
